Be careful of the lies you tell, they might have hilarious consequences

Do you just need a good laugh? Oscar Wilde has written the perfect play for you to read. Wilde shows readers just some of the silly troubles one might find themselves if they choose not to be honest. You will enjoy turning the pages to find out if the whacky characters will be able to dig themselves out of the hole they put themselves in.

As inmates, sometimes you just need a good laugh. So much of jail life is depressing and serious. it is nice sometimes to just be able to get away mentally in a fun positive way for a while. Even in silly moments, prisoners can still be able to find opportunities to reflect on wrong decisions that others have made and see if they apply to their own lives.

In this play, we meet two friends who both seem to have trouble with honesty with those around them. Algernon, the whacky playboy that’ only cares I swhat the fun thing in life and Jack the rich love-struck man seems to only get themselves into trouble after trouble because they’re both hiding a secret. What secret do they share you ask? They both are pretending to be another man named Ernest!

Jack, who spends most of his time living out of the city, has developed the fake persona of Ernest, just so h could get some free time alone from his life’s responsibilities. However, what Jack, or “Ernest” didn’t count on was falling in love with a beautiful girl that has only known him by his fake name. Algernon, the crafty character hs is only used this secret information to benefit himself while annoying his friend. Does JAck tell her the truth? Can Jack save his relationship? Read the comical play and find out.

Laughter can help brighten any day and can help someone maybe want to give up the relief to go on for just a little while longer. Good-hearted stories that still have little moral lessons are always something needed in jail. If all this play does is give the reader a few days of chuckles, that can be enough to possibly give hope that things once again will get better.
