Review By: Galactic Geek (Inmate)

The president Nixon you thought you knew, this expands way beyond his 1978 biography.

I am a huge fan of President Richard M. Nixon and this book by the trustee of the Nixon Foundation, Conrad Black is an extensive and exhaustive collection of research done by him. I read “RN: The Memoirs of Richard Nixon” and Mr. Black’s book goes far beyond Nixon’s evaluation of himself. After finishing this book, I wanted to run back to the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda and spend all day inside to compare notes. There was so much that was left unanswered in Nixon’s book that was fully explained here. Because Mr. Black is a fan of President Nixon, he writes about the positive feelings of Nixon’s life and his love for America. My favorite quote from Nixon (Found in this book) is “Those who carry a peace sign in one hand and a bomb in the other are the super hypocrites of our time.” How Richard Nixon’s words ring true today. To say I loved this book is understated and will read it again very soon. While some people agree that Barak Obama was the greatest president of our times, he doesn’t hold a candle to the awesome Richard M. Nixon. Just compare their records.
