Review By: Blackbird (Inmate)

How to reframe your life through positive thinking that will keep you out of prison.

Summary/review: So many inmates have very negative thinking patterns of how they view their world and the possible outcomes of what their lives might be. Whether it is relationships, job opportunities or potential sentencings. A lot of inmates only believe that the worst option will come their way. In the book, The End of Recidivism, by Gregory S. LaBeet we read about how reframing your life towards positive thinking of life potentials can attract desired outcomes that keep us out of the cycle of incarceration.

The book was written by a former inmate that spent over a decade behind bars for robbery and violent charges. He is now a successful business man living his dream life and he says he owes it all to the laws of attraction. LaBeet talks about The Source of spiritual energy that binds us all together on this earth and how we can tap into it for our benefit if we focus ourselves only with positive in the way we choose to live. He uses his own life to serve as an example of the way to find success. He talks a lot about how he use to believe he was trapped in the negative thought cycle that only spiraled him back to incarceration. By study how to change his vibrations in the universe to ones of positivity he has been able to achieve more than he ever thought possible.

I really enjoyed this book because I have read many of the same books the author has along my own journey being incarcerated. I use to have a similar negative view of my world and the options of what might be. I couldn't figure out why it seemed every time my negative thoughts came into reality. In a way I was self-sabotaging my potential because I was putting in to the world negative vibrations that only brought me back the things I didn't want. I have work hard over the years to change this pattern and I think a book like this is a great tool for people looking to do the same. One very useful part of the book I found was how he talks about life after prison as well. He gives us easy step by step practical ideas for what we can do while incarcerated and after our release. It was easy for me to understand the goal he has set for all of us to become freer happy people won't come back to prison. I think this would be a great book for people looking to understand how to attract all of their dreams in life to them.
