Is this book right for my inmate and me?

This is a great book for those who believe in love stores and true passion of the human spirit. IT is also a great book for Latinos who grew up learning and feeling the old-fashioned customs of courtship and family in Latin America.

Review By: Road Runner (Inmate)

Rain of Gold is a true-life saga of love, family, and destiny that pulses with bold vitality, sweeping from the war-ravaged Mexican mountains of Pancho Villa’s Revolution to the days of Prohibition in California.

I thoroughly and wholeheartedly enjoyed this book. It follows the story of Victor Villaseñor’s parents, Lupe and (Juan) Salvador, and their upbringing in war-torn Mexico and their subsequent migration to the United States. It is a sweeping epic that shows how these two lovers met against all odds. I never knew that Mexico was so full of such honorable tradition and culture. This book completely drew me in. I don’t believe my review here does the book justice, the scale of the book is just too grand to fit in just a few sentences. My recommendation to you is: READ IT!
