Review By: Victorious (Inmate)

A lowly slave at one point leads a rebellion that turns against him.

I liked how the book has continuous action and keeps you guessing at what the next turn is going to be. This is the fourth book in a series and keeps going at a good pace. It’s rare to find a series of books that keeps up with the expectations of the first ones. This definitely does. I recommend reading them in order. I like that this book is a lot bigger than the first 3, this book is 593 pages. What I didn’t like at first is the first three books were all from Darrow’s point of view. The story got so big it started telling it from different people’s points of view, how Game of Thrones does but you get used to it. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who is looking for something to keep them busy with a compelling story. It’s strictly recreational. I really enjoyed reading it very much better than watching a good movie. It will help to keep inmates busy.
