Scott Pratt puts just enough into his writing to make you want to keep reading more of his material.

This book is part of an eleven book series about a defense attorney Joe Dillaro, in Northeast Tennessee. While this is the second book I have read in this series they are somewhat similar. While I won't make a spoiler alert, this particular book has a pretty good ending. I like how author Scott Pratt injects his thoughts of religion and the dirty deeds of mankind into his writing, but also makes his main character doubt the existence of God (somewhat) during many of his case files. This book reads fast and has the classic murder mystery element that most fictional crime stories have in them.
