Atomic Habits is a very helpful book to me especially because I am an inmate. It taught me to get into a routine to create healthy habits while I'm doing time, using my time wisely to become a better person and live a healthy, positive life. I have learned to replace my bad habits with good ones. The author explains things really well making the book easy to understand. It is also filled with wisdom and powerful stories from his experiences in life. There are stories of others that said great examples from top performers Olympic gold medalists, award-winning artists, business leaders, and much more examples of successful people who have all used the science of atomic habits to master their craft and climbed to the top of their field. James Clear teaches you if you're having trouble changing your habits the problem isn't you, the problem is your system. He breaks the system down with the four laws of behavior change and gives you a set of tools and strategies you can use to build better systems and create better habits which will lead to a better you in a better life.
