A two dimensional square that discovers three dimensional enlightenment through a paradigm shift.

Flatland is a story of the challenges of faith and changing perceptions set in a geometric world. Like so many of us, we meet a character of a square that has spent his life living in his comfort zone of believing he knows everything this world has to offer because it is all right in front of him. However, what happens when his world is turned upside down and he is visited by a geometric sphere from a higher mathematical dimension? He is left trying to explain his newly gained knowledge to those around him that perceive the world as he once had. Will he be able to lead them to a higher understanding by having them take a leap of faith? This great book is his journey.

So often we find ourselves clinging to beliefs and ideas because they are safe and comfortable to us. They are frequently based on things we can only see and touch. As inmates we build our realities on our cases and expectations on what others tell us they must be. However, can there possibly be more out there for us that we might not be able to see?

For inmates, our lives are in need of a major paradigm shift in order to achieve the positive dreams we wish. We must take the leap of faith that outside of our comfort zone to understand our perception of the world around us might not be a complete picture. This book reminds us that at the moment, it doesn't’ mean it isn’t there.

As a reader of this book you can find a calming peace in allowing yourself to reflect that you might not have all the answers at the moment but if you remain faithful to the idea that a positive future of something greater is with you as you work to better yourself you won’t slip back to a life of ignorance and fear.
