Excellent resource for those who never knew the struggles of Poland during WWII and the Nazi invasion.

Four girls grow up in Poland together as friends from different religious backgrounds when World War II and the extermination of Jews becomes of them. This true-to-life story engulfs you into their school days, their laughters, their becoming of age, and their struggles to keep each other and the life of a child alive during one of the most tragic times in the world’s history. It is a tale of hope, of encouragement, of racism, and of sacrifice. It was truly a wonderful story that needed to be told and shared with everyone who ever had a true life friendship with others growing up. This book will certainly bring you both tears of joy and laugher as well as sadness. The author is a true researcher of family biographies
