Letting go of your past to find the healthy emotional child within you.

Reading this book by Faye Mack I learned so much about my current emtioonal state and how I could better become aware of who I truly am. "Reclaiming Your Inner Child" deals with getting in touch with your natural essence state and learning to live freely towards a life of success. I really see how I have repressed my own inner child over the years and how it has led me to build barriers to my own growth. I have began to incorporate a lot of the strategies and philosophy presented in this book towards healing my own mental well being.

I see in being incarcerated many other individuals are like me where recognizing and getting in touch with our emotional state is a challenge. This has led to relationship troubles and hinder many of us from finding productive lives. Building an awareness of our emotional state and how we can change it towards a positive healthy output I believe is a key to turning our lives around. This is the first step of getting in touch with our inner child.

One thing I really appreciated about this book was all the ways the author shared strategies on how we can build our happy inner child. Whether it was drawing, writing or just enjoying the small moments I am able to acajive these helpful easy tasks. I see that my inner child is the real happy and healthy me through reading this book and it gives me hope with each new discovery I make about me. I hope that this book builds a greater self awareness for anyone that reads it and brings them closer to their inner emotions. In the end it will make them mentally free and more peaceful.
