Min Jin Lee, powerful, Asian American author that shares her personal experiences as a Korean immigrant trying to find her way.

This time the story line takes place in the 1980's America following one woman's struggle with being 19 years old in New York without poker direction, born to immigrants whom want her to do the right thingh. That being marry only your own race and !carry for success. I can't help but feel that this story has a tremendous amount of the author's personal walk in life considering she lived in New York as well. While not as powerful as he "Pachinko" book, she continues to write about the Korean struggle in another country. The whole theme and flow if this book is geared to the female reader as there is much written about fashion, women's choices and relationship struggles as seen through the eyes of a young woman. Min jin is a beautiful writer and I hope to see more from her soon.
